The entrance hallway at Edwinsford is now a complete shell; a contrast from when I first visited the house in the early 2000’s. Back then this room was full of saplings and it was difficult to move around the room. The room has now been cleared from the jungle that once inhabited the space, but not only the undergrowth has disappeared. Also now absent are the front doors and the stone fireplace, hopefully just removed and put into storage and not another victim of country house theft.
